Willmott Dixon came to Cavendish in 2007 with limited experience of developing public affairs. Since then the construction group has developed relationships with many leading politicians across the major political parties and is recognised by a number of influential senior civil servants across a number of departments for its work in the health and education building sector and in particular in the field of low carbon buildings. This has largely been achieved by a number of industry–recognised papers on key construction themes as well as a number of specific events with politicians and civil servants.
