Over the past few years the number of tall buildings in London’s skyline has grown dramatically. In particular we are now seeing a significant number of tall buildings in Zone 3 and beyond – historically suburban areas, many of which are now seeing significant densification taking place. Tall buildings are nothing if not usually controversial. Supporters of tall buildings see them as part of the solution to address London’s housing crisis whereas their critics see them as a blight on London’s built environment.
This document which is produced by Cavendish Local addresses some of the issues raised by tall buildings in suburban locations.
