Alex Challoner

Managing Director

Alex is the founding Director of Cavendish Communications. With twenty years of experience at a senior level within public affairs he is one of the foremost professionals in the industry.

As a former adviser to the Conservative Party at the 1997 General Election Campaign, Campaign Director for Steve Norris’s London Mayoral Campaign in 2000 and Deputy Chair of the Tory Reform Group, Alex has a comprehensive knowledge of the key figures within Conservative politics and a deep understanding of the trends and power-bases within the Party.

A specialist in the development sector, Alex has advised leading companies such as; Delancey, Waitrose, Starbucks, Crest Nicholson, Willmott Dixon and NHS Royal Marsden.

Gareth Morgan


Gareth has over a decade’s experience in advising leading brands on relations with policy-makers in Westminster/Whitehall, City Hall, Welsh Assembly and local authorities. Prior to working in public affairs he was a think tank researcher and as such he is the agency lead on developing thought leadership content for clients to underpin profile raising and network building.

As a Labour activist in Wales and in London he has advised on Labour London Mayoral selection, Parliamentary and London Assembly campaigns and most recently was a local election candidate for the London Borough of Haringey. He does his politics at Corbyn Ground Zero and uses this experience to provide clients with insight into the new politics within Labour and how to engage with it.

With broad experience across many sectors he has advised leading organisations such as: the London School of Economics, East Midlands Airport, Canal & River Trust, Met Office, Keolis UK, John Lewis Partnership, the GTMC and Arvato UK.

David Fanthorpe

Senior Consultant

David has had a distinguished career in public affairs, having worked at director level in leading public affairs and PR consultancies. He has been an Associate with Cavendish since 2006 and provides senior counsel to clients on the workings of Government.

He began his career as a Whitehall civil servant, but later transferred to the political sphere and became deputy director of the Conservative Research Department when Mrs Thatcher was Prime Minister and a Conservative Parliamentary Candidate in 1992.

He has extensive experience of the financial services, environment, health, transport and technology sectors and at Cavendish has advised clients including VocaLink, the Natural Environment Research Council and Willmott Dixon.

Matthew Sutton

Account Director

Prior to agency Matt spent four years working as a researcher for Conservative MPs who held PPS roles to Cabinet Ministers and as such has an excellent network within Parliament and understanding of the workings of MPs offices.

He has extensive experience in agency working across sectors including technology, transport, video games development, construction and skills. Matt is also active in industry bodies and is current Chair of the APPC’s Young Consultants Committee.

Adam Jogee

Senior Account Manager

Adam joined Cavendish from Parliament where he worked as an adviser to Diane Abbott MP and Hugh Gaffney MP. As such he has a broad network amongst the Parliamentary Labour Party including Shadow Cabinet members and their advisors. He has been a Labour Councillor in London since 2014 and brings a deep understanding of Labour politics at a national and local level to the Cavendish team.

Thomas Woolhouse

Thomas is an experienced public affairs professional and has worked across a broad range of sectors including financial services, pharmacy, aviation and the creative industries. Thomas has a background in Parliament working for George Eustice MP, Minister of State at the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, and Stewart Jackson, formerly MP for Peterborough.

Sabrina Huck

Senior Account Executive

A Labour activist in London, Chair of Wandsworth Momentum and formerly Young Labour national committee member, Sabrina is deeply involved in the Labour movement and the Corbyn Left. Her understanding of the politics and dynamics of the team around Corbyn and the grassroots movement that his dominance is based upon is invaluable for clients seeking to understand how to prepare for a potential Labour Government.
